Overzicht
Madinah Munawwarah of Medina al-Munawwarah (المدينة المنورة) is de op één na heiligste stad voor moslims, omdat de Profeetmoskee er staat, waar het graf van Mohammed zich bevindt. Medina ligt 210 mijl (340 km) ten noorden van Mekka en ongeveer 120 mijl (190 km) van de kust van de Rode Zee.
Nadat we u op uw locatie hebben opgehaald, begint onze tour bij de moskee van Quba, de eerste moskee die door moslims werd gebouwd. Daarna bezoeken we de moskee van Qiblatain, waar Mohammed (vrede zij met hem) het bevel kreeg om de gebedsrichting te veranderen.
Vervolgens gaan we naar de Juma-moskee, waar Mohammed (vrede zij met hem) het eerste vrijdaggebed verrichtte. Ook de Zeven Moskeeën, een complex van zes kleine historische moskeeën, Shuhada Uhud en de tuin van Hazrat Salman Farsi (dadels) zijn in onze bezoeken inbegrepen.

Of this mountain, the Prophet (ﷺ) declared, “This mountain loves us and we love it.” [Muslim] Our Next Attraction will be Garden of Salman Farsi: The land on which the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) planted three hundred date palms to free Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) from slavery. It is located close to Masjid Quba in Medina in Medina.

Masjid Jummah

Masjid Jummah, on the boundary of Madinah, marks the site where the Prophet (ﷺ) led the first Jummah salah, shortly after his Hijrah (migration) from Makkah. It is about 2.5 km from Masjid-e-Nabwi. Approximately one hundred Muslims participated in this first Jummah salah. Amongst them were the Prophet’s (ﷺ) relatives from Bani an-Najjar who had come to meet him and some from Bani Amr who had escorted him from Quba. After performing the Friday prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) mounted Qaswa (his camel) and set off for the city of Madinah.
