Madinah Munawwarah atau Medina al-Munawwarah (المدينة المنورة) ialah bandar kedua paling suci bagi umat Islam kerana di sini terdapat Masjid Nabawi, tempat makam Muhammad berada. Medina terletak 210 batu (340 km) di utara Mekah dan kira-kira 120 batu (190 km) dari pesisir Laut Merah.
Selepas menjemput anda dari lokasi, lawatan kami akan bermula di Masjid Quba, masjid pertama yang dibina oleh umat Islam, kemudian Masjid Qiblatain, tempat Muhammad (SAW) menerima perintah untuk menukar kiblat. Seterusnya, Masjid Juma, tempat Muhammad (SAW) menunaikan solat Jumaat yang pertama.

Masjid Jummah

Masjid Jummah, on the boundary of Madinah, marks the site where the Prophet (ﷺ) led the first Jummah salah, shortly after his Hijrah (migration) from Makkah. It is about 2.5 km from Masjid-e-Nabwi.
Approximately one hundred Muslims participated in this first Jummah salah. Amongst them were the Prophet’s (ﷺ) relatives from Bani an-Najjar who had come to meet him and some from Bani Amr who had escorted him from Quba.
After performing the Friday prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) mounted Qaswa (his camel) and set off for the city of Madinah. -
